Khai Hadid Malik, Khai means ‘crowned’ in Arabic.
US supermodel Gigi Hadid and British singer Zayn Malik created chaos on social media after indistinctly revealing the name of their daughter.
As the news broke out, fans have now found out the meaning as well as the person whom they seemingly honoured by naming their first child Khai Hadid Malik.
A fan commented about the name, saying Khai means ‘crowned’ in Arabic and Gigi having Palestinian roots and Zayn having Pakistani heritage, it would make sense for the couple to pick an Arabic name for their little angel.
Fans also conjectured that the baby is named after to the model’s grandmother Khairiah Hadid.
Gigi sparked a frenzy not long ago after she delicately unveiled the name of her daughter by making a little addition in her Instagram bio.
“Khai’s mom,” Gigi Hadid wrote.
